Introduction & General Information: This summer, Summer Kampers is offering two exciting day camp programs: A Very Special Week at Hogwarts or Academic Enrichment Camps. A VERY SPECIAL WEEK AT HOGWARTS is an experience of a lifetime for Harry Potter fans. Where else can you don your wizard's cloak and be Sorted by a real Sorting Hat that has a conversation with you! There are loads of special effects in this full day camp, interesting characters and surprise visitors weekly. The school is magically transformed into a castle-like setting, complete with antiques, House Common Rooms and an over-the-top atmosphere that is second to none. Students will take courses such as Potions, Divination, Defense Against the Dark Arts, TriWIzard Tournament, Quidditch, Herbology, and more! Sorting Ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday morning. We will serve a feast at lunchtime Friday, which will be followed by the ever popular Wizard Bowl competition, as well as the final Quidditch tournament! This is the original Hogwarts camp in the area. It is not uncommon for kids to describe a week at this camp as, "the best experience in my LIFE!" Hurry, this one fills up FAST!Concurrently, we will also be offering full day ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT CAMPS the weeks of July 5, 12 and 19. Imagine the best of our creative Enrichment camps, combined with the structure and full day nature of our Academic camps! We'll be offering CSI: Forensic Science Week 1, Physics/Engineering Boot Camp Week 2, and our ALL NEW Mission: Atlantis Week 3. Note Week 4 is Hogwarts only. Check out the descriptions of these programs below! They're all science-based, packed full of experiments, hands on activities and some mystery- and problem-solving thrown in just for kicks! |
